
PROJECT OVERVIEW
CAVADACAVU COREIVU JOCU BUCURO is a REDD+ forest conservation and restoration project located in the Colombian Amazon. The project is designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by preventing deforestation and forest degradation while promoting ecosystem restoration and long-term forest management.
Developed in collaboration with local and indigenous communities, the project contributes to climate change mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and the protection of one of the world’s most important tropical forest regions.
By preserving existing forests and supporting restoration activities, the project generates verified carbon credits while creating environmental and social benefits for surrounding communities.
